ABOUT ME

Software engineer, lead and entrepreneur. I enjoy working with people, open source, fast, scalable and smart architectures. I love making things go fast and far in controlled environment and on budget. My day is spent developing, integrating, deployment and monitoring.

My day time job is at cyber security firm Fortinet [nasd: FTNT] in California as Principal Software Engineer.

Over 20 years of heavy lifting for startups and established firms alike made me pro in DevOps, Architecture, Instrumentation, Monitoring, Logging, Visualization, Dashboarding.

Best described by peers as “senior level engineer who can if need to product manage, project manage, code front or backend, deploy and monitor on any scale but most important be part of team and share knowledge”.

Currently i am involved in infosec and network monitoring. I write in GO, run on linux cloud (AWS/Linode/VMWare) backed via Kafka, Clickhouse and ES. I use event arch and using open sourced solutions when ever i can.

As pet projects i contribute to multiple github and bitbucket open source repos and also maintain free networking utilities such as cronrat, ironpoke, nodder and snoopy
